The power of habits

Habits are cycles in your brain that repeat between the cue the routine and the reward the cue is what triggers the start of the cycle the routine is what you do in the habit and the reward makes the habit want to repeat and craving is also what makes you want to repeat the habit for example if you wake up at 10 A.M. and have breakfast the cue is waking up the routine is making breakfast the reward and you crave it because it tastes good so if you don’t have it in the morning you will always be missing it for the rest of the day

this is kinda the way it goes

the cue is waking up the routine is the rat walking to the food and the reward is eating the food and when there isn’t any food it creates a craving for more food .

To change habits you have to change nothing but the routine you keep the cue and you keep the reward so if this rat instead of walking to the food he wanted to fly he would change his routine to flying to the food instead of walking he would still do it every time he wakes up and he would still eat the food this is what I know of habits right now later I might edit this with edited knowledge but bye I hope you learned.

Mexico

So as you might not know we just went to Mexico for 2 weeks

we flew there the flight was really good overall it was pretty uneventful.

The first house we went to was in El Cuyo a little town where we just recuperated from the plane ride but we ate at some really good restaurants.

Our second house was in Tellchac it was a apartment type thing but bigger and it had a swimming pool, when we were in Tellchac we went to a restaurant where bass(one of my brother’s) got a fish filete but when we got it we were suprised that it was a whole fish! So after that we drove around until we got to a cenote that was surounded by racoons (the racoons didn’t get frightened away if we came close) then we came along our third house I’m not sure where that house was in but none of us loved that house because there was no rim on the toilet, there was only four rooms, and some of us had to sleep in hammocks. Our fourth house was the best one yet! It was Omar’s house… when we got there we talked with him but he only spoke a little english but luckily he was really good at hand gestures so we got the memo of what he was saying. at dinner he made it for us but we were very suprised when he came in with 3 cassarole dishes for us plus fruit and we were overwhelmed . Mom made a joke about Omar being dissapointed at us for not eating more than half of it (mexican’s are very hospitable and apparently it’s rude to not eat all your food) so we went to sleep and guess what we had next morning… if you guessed more cassarole dishes filled with pancakes then you guessed right 30 pancakes piled in a cassarole dish with condiments so that continued until we found a pool and we played in that for the rest of the day . The third day at omar’s house we had a mayan guide to guide us to a cenote that was like 30 feet deep I tried to dive from a 15 feet ledge but I slapped my leg on the water and got a huge bruise and we swam around for awhile and went back we did the normal things and then the next day we woke up at 4:00 A.M. to see a sunset on top of a mayan temple with the mayan guide and his friend it was pretty cool but after that we left off to the fifth house York Pet’s witch is a little house rental place thing we only stayed one night but they gave us a tour of their property where there was a LOT of fruit we talked some with the kids and we made friend’s with them and then we left onto our final house Hacienda Caribe

We spent another week at Hacienda Caribe we went there with our whole friend group you can check the house out here.

we spent most of our time swimming but we went snorkeling at a reef

were I got stung by an anemone and I got swimmer’s ear.

so what do you think that’s the rundown of what we did in mexico.

Adios amigos.
